Story Behind R*O*P*E
Rod's Operational Paracord Experiments was born from my underwhelming need to work with my hands. I have always been fascinated with knots, even while I was a young fisherman and spent hours untangling rats nests in my fishing line. Many of these knots I learned when I was a Boy Scout, and where used frequently while I was in the military.
After leaving the military I used these knots to tie bracelets, dog collars, and leashes. I found making bracelets cathartic and that it helped with my PTSD.
